What is PaprBoard?
PaprBoard is a personal trading journal and analytics dashboard for Interactive Brokers (IBKR) accounts. You import your IBKR statements and it gives you a detailed breakdown of portfolio performance, daily P&L, open positions, trade history, and lets you journal each trade with notes and tags.
Do I need an IBKR account to try it?
No. When you first arrive you're signed in as a guest with a sample portfolio already loaded, so you can explore every page right away. To see your own numbers, head to Upload Data and import a statement from your IBKR account.
Is PaprBoard free?
You get 30 days of free access to all features; after that it's $5/month or $50/year (2 months free). You can create an account (we only ask for an email, nothing else) or sign in with Google to store your data permanently. Guest sessions are free too, but the data is temporary.
Does PaprBoard ever place trades or move my money?
No. PaprBoard is strictly read-only analytics. It only reads the statement data you import — it never places trades, transfers funds, or has any ability to act on your brokerage account.
What file formats can I upload?
Two options: an IBKR Activity Statement in CSV format, or a Flex Query export in XML format. Both are produced from the IBKR Client Portal.
What is Flex Web Service, and how is it different from uploading a file?
Flex Web Service connects to IBKR with a token and Query ID so PaprBoard can download your statement automatically — including daily background syncs — instead of you exporting and uploading a file each time. You set it up once in the IBKR Client Portal under Flex Queries, then paste your Token and Query ID into the Flex Web Query tab. For best results, set up two queries: an Activity Flex Query for your full history and P&L, and a Trade Confirmation Flex Query so today's trades import in realtime.
